Every day we receive orders and directives from coordinators and managers of the client company: the employers. On one occasion, due to a complaint from the client company, the coordinator and person in charge of the service (ISS) asked me -via WhatsApp- rudely and threateningly: “apologize to avoid greater evils”, to the coordinator of the Maintenance department of Salvesen Logística because of an alleged fault committed on my part, by not complying with an action communicated in the AIB course, previously mentioned. The fault committed on my part was motivated by following orders received from coordinators/superiors of the client company, which do not conform to such protocols.
In order not to extend this corollary of employer abuses any further. I have to state the following: for more than six months we have been suffering a situation of total defenselessness and vulnerability because we are a labor group without union representation. A week ago I filed a complaint through the Occupational Health section of Comisiones Obreras. This first complaint points to the right to a 20-minute break or rest during the working day (as has been practiced in the jurisprudence of this country). A more complete complaint could be articulated: a real package of abuses.
